Neat little tin to keep super thin stuff in. It can, and does, hold folded cash pretty nicely for those who despise the money clip. Otherwise, from paraphernalia to polaroids, the inside depth of 1/4in (6.35mm) stores whatever you can manage to fit.
Well worn exterior patina with clean interior. Previous owner definitely used the bottom as an ashtray.
